OUT-OF-PRINT, long-deleted, 2013 UK Death Waltz 33-track 2-LP, featuring 'THE FOG' O.S.T. on heavyweight 180-gram gold wax vinyl. First vinyl includes the original score as released in 1984, and the bonus vinyl includes all of the original movie cues which have never been available on vinyl before; presented in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with liner notes by John Carpenter, Alan Howarth , Randall D. Larson and Dinos Chapman. Restricted to 1,000 copies worldwide. This is an absolute stone cold classic from director/composer John Carpenter.

The Fog was John Carpenter's first film after the low-budget success of Halloween, and tells the story of a small North California fishing town terrorized by a glowing supernatural fog containing the vengeful ghosts of six murdered lepers. Like most of Carpenter's films, the score was written by by the director himself. It built on the more simplistic piano melody and synthesizer combination of the iconic Halloween score to create something much more abstract and foreboding.

Album cover art is by Dinos Chapman - yes, the Dinos Chapman: as an internationally renowned solo artist, and together with his brother Jake, Dinos Chapman makes iconoclastic sculpture, prints and installations that examine, with searing wit and energy, contemporary politics, religion and morality. The Chapmans have exhibited extensively, including numerous shows at White Cube, Tate Britain, and Tate Liverpool. Sleeve notes on this release are by Dinos Chapman, Alan Howarth, Randall D. Larson, and John Carpenter himself.

This set remains sealed from new in the original manufactur's shrink wrap, and therefore mint and unplayed. The shrink wrap is still intact with no tears, and the jacket is in mint condition (No Cuts, No Ring Wears). An absolutely stunning copy!!!. Any visible white spots are shine from the lighting and are NOT defects. See the images to the bottom of the page
