This is the original UK LP by JOHN COLTRANE, IMPRESSIONS, 1963 STEREO 1st Press on the HMV label CSD 1509
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- AS 42 A-1
Side 2:- AS 42 B-1
Stamper codes are, Side 1:- 1 / GA
Side 2:- 1 / G
The original 1963 UK 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover is in VG+ condition. The spine is clean and perfectly readable. The beautiful cover maintains all it's original bright vibrant colour on the thickly laminated front. The back is clean, slight ageing and damage to the bottom right hand flipback, their are no seam splits, no unwanted writing.
The vinyl is in EX+++ condition. Only one non-sounding light small mark on side two, otherwise would be graded MINT-!. The vinyl is gleams with all its original factory fresh shine and lustre!.
The vinyl plays MINT- !, playing with superb clarity, playing with superb depth and warmth!. Such a beautiful playing vinyl, playing with such stunning warmth and clarity!
The labels are in MINT- condition, beautifully clean and fresh, no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows no wear.
