We have for sale this fantastic UK LP from John Coltrane entitled 'A Love Supreme'.

This original UK Impulse Stereo LP plays very well with no jumps or skips or any real loss of sound quality. There is some very, very slight crackle right at the start of each side and the rest of the LP plays beautifully, so we have graded the LP as excellent minus. Visually, we also grade this LP as excellent minus. There are no fingerprint marks, one hairline scratch on side 1, one small surface marks on side 1 and no paper scuffs. The labels are clean and free from writing, marks and stains with just some spindle traces and two small fingerprint/grease stains.

The original plain inner is in excellent condition, it is intact with no marks, tears, stains or writing.

The original Robert Stace gatefold cover is in excellent condition. There is some very, very light scuffing to the corners but not the edges. The spine is perfect, it has no scuffing and all the words are completely readable. There are 2 or 3 light creases to the front cover and a hint of ringwear to the back cover. The inside of the gatefold has a hint of browning and ageing around the edges, but this is slight. Overall, this cover is intact, no rips, stains, marks or writing. Overall this is in excellent- condition and is a great addition to anyone's collection.

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
