Description
Rare collectable 1965 Impulse! Records, original US Stereo pressing, orange and black Impulse! labels, thick laminated gatefold cover. One of the greatest jazz albums of all time, gorgeous analog sound quality, Van Gelder mastering stamp in the vinyl runouts. Despite a myriad of reissues over the years, this is still the best version ever in any format by far.
VPI cleaned and play graded, record in solid VG+ condition, plays great. Visually, it has fair amount of tiny hairline scratches, but little to no interference with the sound, only a little minor surface noise and a few light pops audible during the quiet bass solo on Side 2.
The iconic gatefold cover is VG+ as well, just a a little edge wear and light corner bumps, overall looks fantastic for its age (50+ years old!). Includes original Impulse inner sleeve.
PLEASE NOTE- there unfortunately is a name written on the inside gatefold fairly large, and also on the Side 2 label (see photos).
Packed and shipped with care. You can combine any records I am selling for a significant shipping discount. Thanks.
