Description
You are bidding on an original U.S. pressing of John Coltrane's "Ascension" LP on the Impulse! label (A-95). Van Gelder stamp in the dead wax. This is the first monaural (mono) pressing of the rare first edition recording. Later pressings showed an "edition II" etched in the dead wax.
