Description

This one is a stereo first pressing of John Coltrane's Ballads on Impulse Records AS-32. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder with "VAN GELDER" stamped on the dead wax of both sides.
A Quartet performed by John Coltrane (tenor saxophone), McCoy Tyner (piano), Jimmy Garrison (bass), Elvin Jones (drum).
The disc looks NM on both sides. Comes with original sleeve.
The Record plays NM on side 1 and VG++ on side 2 due to small pops at the beginning of the side. Grooves do not show any wear or damage.
The gatefold laminated cover is NM. Strong/No split. Just a small dent at the upper right corner and small original price sticker from a record shop on back. No fading. Just small laminated peel. The spine is intact and readable.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.
