Description
For your consideration is a vintage early 1960's stereo pressing of John Coltrane's classic "Blue Train". Blue Note Catalog BST-1577.
This heavy pressing has the requisite EAR and RVG-STEREO in the dead wax. The record label is marked "New York USA". Album back cover shows the "43 West. 61st." address.
From my own personal collection. It has a nice glossy cover and the rare Gold Stereo Sticker.
Pressing is in Very Good condition showing some marks and scuffs due to age. No feelable scratches. Label is clean. It has been carefully cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine.
It has been play graded on my Dynavector/VPI Combination and sounds great with no skips or loud pops. Some surface noise which is expected on a near 50 year old pressing.
Cover is in Very Good condition with some shelf wear on the edges. Back is faintly marked "jazz 1963 NYC" by original owner.
Record comes with its original Blue Note inner paper sleeve. An audiophile grade rice paper sleeve is also included for extra protection.
The album will be shipped in a dedicated LP mailer and with the record outside the cover to prevent splits.
I ship worldwide by Priority Mail International. I do not recommend First Class shipping because it does not provide any tracking.
