Description
JOHN COLTRANE: Blue Train, US orig 1957 Blue Note LP, Blue Note Records, 47 West 63rd, NYC labels, no 'INC' on labels or back cover. P, RVG & 9 M in dead wax. VINYL VG+, plays overall superbly. Play tested at loud volume with my Linn stereo cartiridge I noticed 21-22 light tics on the bass solo towards the end of Blue Train, the type of light tic that would likely not be heard if music had been louder. The rest of the LP plays with superb EXCELLENT+ sound, crystal clear and vibrant. Visually a few light hairlines only, great shine. Labels have 'time-notations' next to each track, neatly made. See pics. Cover is VG+, with just a few minor flaws not seen at first; tape mark on back; small re-glued part of upper spine towards opening. The immediate front and back view is just fantastic. REGISTERED SHIPPING for 1 to 5 LPs is 15 GBP only. Same charge for 1 or 5 LPs, or any number in between. 6-10 LPs will be sent in two packages at 30 GBP.
PACKING
Special UK-made extra-stiff-mailers designed for multiple LPs are used, even for single LP packages. The boxes are oversized and thus provide extra corner protection as well as great stiffness to the package. Additional protection may also be used when found nessesary, such as stiffeners, bubble-wrap, extra corner-protection. I do not charge anything for packing materials.
GRADINGS
MINT(-) is as close to new as a used LP or cover can get, unplayed or played 1-2 times at most with no visual signs of use on surfaces.
MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else, aside from possibly a barely visible and inaudible hairline or two. All minor blemishes will be mentioned in the individual descriptions.
EX or EXCELLENT is also VERY nice, 2-3 light inaudible marks/hairlines perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
VG+ is nice with light hairlines, a few marks maybe. Please see individual notes in case of VG+ or lower gradings.
