Description

You are bidding on a rare first pressing of John Coltrane’s “Crescent” vinyl record. This is on orange Impulse! label with ABC/Paramount and Van Gelder stampings on both sides.


RECORD GRADE: VG+ (visual)

NM-/VG+ (play grade side 1/side2):


DESCRIPTION: The vinyl record is visually graded in VG+ condition (superficial scratches and scuffs) and play graded in NM- condition on side 1 and VG+ condition on side 2. Side 1 plays beautifully without any noise despite the aforementioned physical markings. Side 2 plays well but there is some minor snap crackle and pop during Lonnie’s Lament. Most noticeable during the bass solo but does not at all detract from the music. Otherwise the LP plays flawlessly!


COVER GRADE: VG+


DESCRIPTION: The gatefold cover is graded in VG+ condition. Please see pix for visuals. This cover would be NM if not for the lamination peel on the back. No splits or writing. Some minor corner wear. Strong seams.
