Description

Please read my description carefully before bidding.  I will ship the item for free worldwide and will accept free return if it doesn't match the listing description.


This one is a mono first pressing of John Coltrane's COLTRANE LIVE AT BIRDLAND on Impulse Records A-50.  Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder, in 1963, with "VAN GELDER" stamped on the dead wax of both sides. 


A Quartet performed by John Coltrane (tenor saxophone), McCoy Tyner (piano), Jimmy Garrison (bass), Elvin Jones (drum).


The disc looks shine and grossly on both sides but have some spindle marks. Thus, I rated it VG++.  Otherwise, it would have been NM.  Comes with original Impulse! sleeve.


The Record plays NM on both sides. Grooves do not show any wear or damage.  


The gatefold laminated cover is VG++.  Strong/No split.  Everything looks like new but decay of age.  The spine is intact and readable.


The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. 


My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.
