Up for bids is a great, rare, mono Jazz LP by John Coltrane called "Soultrane". Prestige Records. PRLP 7142. 1958.

 

RARE ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING!

 

DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!

 

YELLOW LABELS WITH "203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield N.J." ADDRESS ON BOTH!

 

Both sides' Trail-Off's have the stamped "RVG"!

 

Front of cover is laminated.

Record's edges are raised.

 

Comes with plastic Coral Records inner sleeve in VG++ condition (record will be shipped in separate polylined sleeve and outside cover).

 

NOTE:

The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.


Cover is a STRONG VG+ condition. Front is beautiful with some light wear. Back of cover has some wear and some browning by the edges. Cover has a slight curve to it. All sides are completely intact! How about that spine photo! No splits anywhere on cover! Strong and sturdy, this is a prime example of this cover!

I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG+ to VG++. Looks gorgeous with only a couple of superficial marks that do not affect play. A little surface noise at times, but not much wear at all! One small, light scratch a few minutes into the first track on Side 1 causes a light tick, but does not last long and does not skip my needle. Labels have some marks on them but are mostly clean. Record sounds so amazing on my player! GOD BLESS PRESTIGE & VAN GELDER!
