PRESTIGE LP 7074
1st / ORIGINAL 1957 US MONO pressing!
446 W. 50th St. N.Y.C. address w/ RVG in dead wax.
ULTRASONIC & VACUUM CLEAN vinyl plays a very clean EX overall, much playback is NM- — No serious flaws were noted, only a stray mild pop or surface noise on a few ocassions or between tracks. The very sparse & quiet B2 has some surface noise, perhaps arguably playing closer to VG+ at times: still a truly fine MONO listen.
Vinyl is visually VG+ or better with some scuffs and light marks (none of which were audibly notable). Despite any light marks, playback was truly excellent, a testament to the quality of this pressing.
Cover is a actually quite nice, but the top seam is totally split, so VG due to that, otherwise EX with only minor wear. Clear, legible spine, clean back cover, see photos!
Tracks:
Just You, Just Me
Tenor Conclave
How Deep Is The Ocean
Bob's Boys
Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, NJ, September 7, 1956
