Description
Original John Coltrane with The Red Garland Trio - Prestige #7123 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. - Sideways A RVG in the dead wax.
The front of the cover is in great shape with a "2 1/2 inch separation on the bottom and a bent top corner. It is the red Marc Rice Cover. The back is a disaster. Half of the back has severe water damage and mold spots that will not wipe off. No loose mold, it is embedded in the paper. I understand if you don't want the cover. But if you do fine.
The sleeve is old, ripped, and coming apart.
The A side of the record is in great shape with four or five very minor surface scratches. It played fine with very little surface noise. The labels on both sides are perfect. Record has flat edge. The B side is the same as side A except the second half of you leave me breathless has a pop scratch. Plays on my record player without skipping.
I have a cheap major turntable from the 70s that I test these on and it played it without skipping. I also am not a record grader. I have described this the best that I can and hope someone wants a great jazz record with a worn cover.
Thanks for looking.
