Description
This is a fine copy of the fifth and final LP by British performance poet John Cooper Clarke, released in 1982. Clarke was part of the Manchester scene that also spawned the Buzzcocks, the Fall, and Joy Division. In his later records, he more thoroughly integrated his poetry with the musical accompaniment, producing tracks that were more song-like (though he never sings per se). The jacket has a 1” split in the spine, creasing on the front cover and along the spine and seams, light ring and seam wear, and light staining on the front cover (EX-). The disc is clean with some hairline scraping, and plays close to M- with a little light surface noise (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
