JOHN DUMMER BAND - Blue. UK vertigo Swirl LP. Rare Test Pressing 1972 Prog Blues. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
A very rare white label test pressing of this 1972 album by John dummer band. This predating the original release as it has another title....which is actually one of the tracks from the LP. The title was changed later to blue. However, the matrix numbers are the same as the final release on the vertigo label.
So this is the very first press of this fine blues rock album.
Original uk vertigo test pressing. No cover with this, as the title had not yet been changed. It strangely comes with 2 inners. One a vertigo swirl inner, the other is plain with the band and title written on it (as does the white label).

Vinyl is vg plus. Very shiny with mild surface wear. One small mark on track 3 side 2 gives a click on a few rotations. It doesn’t jump or skip though. Otherwise a very decent copy.
Inner sleeves have age wear. But all intact. Labels are clean, except side two which has the artist and album title (prior to blue). Written in biro.
A rare album that will not come up for sale again anytime soon.
