Description
ARTIST: John Fahey
TITLE: Morning/Evening Not Night
LABEL: Perfect
YEAR: 1996
CONDITION: unplayed – I could never find a turntable which played at 78! Cover is immaculate
DESCRIPTION: Rare John Fahey DOUBLE 78! In beautiful hard card gatefold cover designed to look like a classic 78 “album†from the 1920s or 30s.One of his last works I think. Pressed on vinyl not shellac. I only ever saw one of these for sale and this is it. Says Byron Coley – “There was also a 10" 78 on the Perfect Sound label in '86 or so, but even if I could find my copy I couldn't play it. Sorry about that.â€. I found it but I can’t play it.Maybe you can? I don’t think either of the tracks on here (each split over two sides) were available elsewhere. RARE RARE RARE!
apologies for poor quality of some of these photos – cheap digicam!
I’m going to be selling off a lot of my records over the next few months to raise vital funds and clear some much-needed space, so if you re into this kinda thing, please keep watching
I will ship anywhere (see postage details for prices). Paypal preferred, but I will accept cheques and cash (in GBP only! No dollars, Euros etc). Negative feedback for non-paying bidders, positive feedback for paying bidders (eventually)… Please check out the rest of my auctions – thanks!
