Description

This item is a 1964 Vinyl LP manufactured by Vanguard Recording Society of musical artist John Hammond entitled Big City Blues. This LP will please most record collectors due to its exceptional condition as to record jacket (cover) and the vinyl record itself. The jacket front and back are both very nice showing no seam splits, spine wear, markings, etc. The sound from this MONO record is just outstanding. I conservatively rate the jacket a VG+ to NM- and the record a VG+ to NM-. It is unlikely that a collector will find this rare album in a nicer overall condition. Original Vanguard inner sleeve is also included as is a new re-sealable clear vinyl jacket cover to protect this album about to turn 50 years old (in 2014). This is one of many albums and 45s in an extensive record collection that will be listed in upcoming months. Genres include country, rock and pop, jazz, folk, easy listening, rhythm and blues and soundtrack/cast recordings. Generally, the albums to be listed will be in exceptional condition as to the outer sleeve jacket (cover) and the vinyl (record) itself and will be rated conservatively.
