Description

John Lee Hooker as John Lee Booker - I Love To Boogie / Graveyard Blues on Chance 1110 from 1952 -  What can I say - rare and becoming increasingly rare. Not a perfect copy but this record just doesn't turn up any more. Condition of the labels can be seen in the photos.

Records are graded M,E+,E, E-, V+, V, V- not going to list anything below V-. This record is in good condition and grades V and plays towards the top end of the grade, the problem with these early Chance pressings is they often don't play that well so even though this record is clean it has been graded to take account of how it plays and the reserve has been set accordingly. This was in my collection for some time and is a great copy until when (if) a better copy comes along.

I have been collecting and selling records for some time now and know how to pack 78s although ebay thinks $4 is enough to properly pack and send fragile records it is clearly not. Shipping to the US/ Japan is about $20 a record with tracking and insurance - less per record with combined shipping, a bit less to Europe and less again for UK domestic shipping.

Ask all questions before bidding, all sales final. Check out the other blues 78s I am listing on JOB, Chance, Checker, Meteor, Cobra, Gotham, Sensation, Deluxe,Savoy,Red Robin,Parrot.
