This is the original UK LP by JOHN LEE HOOKER, 1969 1st Press on EMI's STATESIDE label SSL 10280
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:-SYRX 3583-1, Side 2:- SYRX SYRX 3584-1
Stamper codes are, Side 1:- 1 / G, Side 2:- 1 / R
Both Matrix numbers and Stamper codes indentify this as a VERY 1ST PRESSING, EARLEST PRESSING POSSIBLE
The original 1969 UK Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover is in EX condition. The cover maintains all it's original bright vibrant colours. The solid broad spine is fully intact, clean, 'pinched' at the top and bottom and perfectly readable. On the back - clean, the flipbacks are solid and intact, Their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits.
The vinyl is in a STUNNING MINT- (minus) condition!!!!, gleaming with all it's original 'Just Pressed glossy shine and lustre!, I have played both sides (very very carefully!) and the vinyl plays EX+++/ MINT-. The vinyl plays with stunning crisp clear clarity *, amazing Stereo sound!!!! *, stunning clear bright fresh sound. The quality of this 1969 UK Stereo Pressing is TOP TOP QUALITY!, playing with stunning rich tones, warmth and depth!!
The STATESIDE label's are in MINT- condition!!!, super clean, maintaining all their original bright fresh colour, their is no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear!, superb labels!
The vinyl is housed in a white inner sleeve and in MINT- condition!, lovely and clean and crisp, their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits.
