Description:  This is the extremely rare John Lennon Box Set, released in the UK on June 15, 1981.  It contains eight Vinyl albums with all the original inserts and the 24 page “The Liverpool Echo`s Tribute to John Lennon”- a copy of the magazine issued by a local Liverpool newspaper to celebrate John’s life .

NOTE:  This item came from the extensive personal collection of the former owner of a chain of retail music stores who retired from the business in the early 80’s.  The collection was stored virtually untouched and unplayed since that time in a climate controlled, non-smoking environment.  I will be selling many investment grade coloured vinyl LPs, promos, sealed LPs, and other rare collector items from the collection over the coming months.  If you desire MINT investment-grade vinyl records and/or box sets, you will not be disappointed.

Condition: 

DISC:  Discs are NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found.  Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with care.  Possibly unplayed.  Labels are clean.  Fidelity is superb.  A gorgeous set you will never need to upgrade. 

JACKET:   Jackets are NEAR MINT with flawless front and back panels.  No writing, stickers, or other issues.  Worthy of display. 

BOX:   Box is EXCELLENT.  Front and back panels are near flawless, except for a small nicked area on the front at bottom left, barely noticeable.  Sides and corners are excellent – slight bit of wear on the corner edges, but very minimal as this was always stored in a poly protective outer sleeve to retain its beauty.  No writing, stickers, or other defects. 

The 24-page booket insert is also immaculate – looking like it has never been touched.

Amazing condition and a “must have” set for the dedicated John Lennon fan.  Don’t miss it!
