PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
MEGA RARE original US re-pressing with no barcode on Capitol's resurrected rainbow/colorband label from May, 1986 that is very similar to the 1987 pressing but without the DIGITALLY REMASTERED banner across the top of the front cover and with significantly different matrix run-out info!!! Although the labels state Digitally Remastered at the bottom, the dead wax info would suggest otherwise (at least in comparison to the 1987 re-master) so there is some debate about whether this is truly a re-master. The SRC (Specialty Records Corporation) logo is stamped in the dead wax and an etched "swoosh" indicates that this pressing was mastered by Eddy Schreyer. This pressing included the huge original six-panel poster as seen in the photos but was not issued with any postcards. LP is a beautiful near mint minus. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and gorgeous. Even has the original $4.99 Rolling Stones Records (represent, Chicago!) price sticker in the top right hand corner on the front cover with iconic balloon lettering. An absolute high grade copy with airtight provenance. Supremely rare. This is what collecting is about so don't sleep Fab collectors. You will not be disappointed.
