JOHN LENNON, Cold Turkey, Plastic Ono Band, original 1st issue UK 1969 45 single.
APPLES 1001 - 45 rpm, original 1969 UK Apple, Cold Turkey/Dont worry Kyoko, ‘solid’ centre, original stereo recordings, featuring:
1. on the sleeve, labels and the records matrix, the word ‘APPLE’ has been mis pressed as ‘APPLES’ !,
2. first UK matrix of 1U,
3. original UK stereo recordings,
4. as this is a first UK issue, side one of the record label features a ‘dark green’ Apple colour.
CONDITION:
THE SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is an original first issue UK picture sleeve made of quality card. There are NO tears, splits or stickers on the sleeve. There is a discrete name written in blue pen to the front, top right and a discrete name written on the rear, top right of the sleeve.
THE RECORD: is in very good+ condition.
The matrix are:
side one: APPLES 1001 A – 1U,
side two: APPLES 1001 B – 1U,
The mother/stampers are:
side one: ‘3 H’ and the letters ‘KT’ are also engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove,
side two: ‘3 GM’ and the letters ‘KT’ are also engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove.
THE AUDIO: is very good+, each side plays with some ‘crackle’ and some ‘ticks’ heard here and there. The audio plays with a loud full, period stereo sound.
THE LABELS: are in excellent condition. On side one, there is a name written in blue pen. On side two there is a name written in blue pen. As this is a first UK issue the label on side one features a dark green Apple colour. The labels are free from any stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
