Description
This is an original UK issue (DJM DJS 10965) rare Elton John+John Lennon in Near Mint / Excellent condition EP.
Side 1 - I Saw Her Standing There plays at 45 rpm.
Side 2 - Whatever Gets You Through The Night -and- Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds plays at 33 rpm.
This 33 rpm on a 7” record was recorded at a New York, Madison Square Garden concert for Elton John when his good friend, John Lennon joined him onstage where together they sang Whatever Gets You Through The Night, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, and I Saw Her Standing There. It was the last concert appearance by John Lennon.
The paper picture-sleeve is in Excellent condition but still has almost all the residual glue from the original price sticker and there is some ring wear. Please see photos.
The vinyl is also in Excellent condition and would be in Near Mint condition (the highest rating possible for a used record) but there are 3 tiny marks on the wax just where I Saw Her Standing There starts. Please see photos.
