JOHN LENNON "PLASTIC ONO BAND"

This is surely John Lennon at his most personal, most introspective, and in these ways most revealing.
He reflects on his Mother's untimely death, sadness at his Father's cavalier disappearance - all at John's pre-teen formative age.
Then there are the deep frustrations seeping from the grooves, the alone-ness, feeling small in the world, perspectives and inferiority complexes, his solace with his partner, and disbelief in religion and leaders (a theme that he was to culminate with 'Imagine', wrapped up neatly and completely in a single song).
Absolutely essential for Lennon fans and those curious to know what was in the head of the Beatles leading light.
A tremendous record, and when it's involving one from the greatest pop rock group in history and in such nice shape, it's a significant collectible - and of course a fascinating, very enjoyable playing album.
