Description

This is your opportunity to own a rare piece of original JOHN LENNON and YOKO ONO recording memorabilia -  their" WEDDING ALBUM"- containing a lavish collection of material to keep any Beatles collector busy for quite awhile!   "Wedding Album" is John and Yoko's wedding gift to the world. Made in the midst of their famous peace campaign, it was advant garde at its best!   The album was released by Apple in October of 1969.   This is the ORIGINAL 1969 release of the package - not a reissue!   The package contains:

  • LP record
  • 1-1/2" x 6" photo strip
  • 24" x 36" poster of wedding photos
  • 12" x 36" poster of John and Yoko lithographs
  • 11-1/2" square photo of a piece of wedding cake inserted in the mylar bag
  • 17 page black cover booklet of wedding photos and clippings ("The Press")
  • Copy of the wedding certificate, glued to the inside box lid  
The box container is in VERY GOOD condition - some scuffing on the front and two corners have a small tear. The bottom of the box has one small corner tear. The LP cover is in MINT condition - no ring wear or creasing.  The vinyl record is GOOD PLUS  - appears to have some surface marring but no major scratches. The inserts are all in excellent shape.     PLEASE NOTE: I have tried to describe the item accurately. This is a collector's item, and is almost 40 years old!
