Description

JOHN LENNON / THE BEATLES IMAGINE SUPER-RARE PHILLIPINES VINYL LP MISPRINT !

A Super-rare original Phillippines First press release of this classic JOHN LENNON LP with the sleeve still in its original shrink wrap (opened to remove the record), with a rare printing error top left, and 'THE BEATLES' printed on the label as the artist!

Matrices

  • Matrix / Runout (Variant 2; Run-out Side 1; stamped,etched): YEX 865-1U 2 PORKY SONIC
  • Matrix / Runout (Variant 2; Run-out Side 2; etched: PAS-10004-B SONIC
Vinyl is NM - super clean - hardly any plays - immaculate condition - this was kept as a backup copy -  Sounds Incredible ! Delivers the most beautiful deep, heavy and detailed audio experience - with just the very feintest surface on some of the quieter passages. It has the original 1971 FIRST PRESS Matrices on Side 1 which implies it may have been cut from the original master and it certainly compares very favourably sonically to a UK First Press
Cover is NM  - Still in its shrink wrap -  a really clean & solid example - differs from other versions by being a very pale print and this one has a unique printing error - a pinkish ink splatter top left

Vinyl is housed in a generic white inner EX

This is definitely one for the Beatles collectors!

-Labels state "Mfd. under license by Dyna Products Inc. in the Philippines"
-The official PARI (Philippine Association of the Record Industry, Inc.) circled stamp is only located on the jacket, back upper corner. Not present on the labels.
-Has EMI Philippines country code 1E 064 o 04914 on back sleeve at bottom left. (EMI Country Codes were used to indicate the country in which the record was pressed)

Will be very well packed - sent in record mailer with card stiffener                                     Free local collection from BN2 or will ship worldwide.                                                      All sensible offers considered! Due to a house move I am reluctantly downsizing my large collection of vinyl LPs - mostly bought at the time of release and have had minimal play as I taped them back in the day and listened mainly on cassettes. I always tried to buy the earliest pressings and made sure all the extras, inserts, booklets, limited edition covers etc were included.  Stored upright in a dust and pet free environment they are now ready to move on to a new collection. UK BUYERS - I can send up to 3 single LPs for the same shipping cost  - £4.50 or up to 6 single LPs for £8.50 so if you're interested buying a few, please let me know when you make your first purchase so I can hold off packing and sending - to save you big on the shipping. International shipping discounts also available, please ask.
