This is the UK 1st press of 'Walls And Bridges' by John Lennon. This complete press has the original the original Apple label, the earliest Z5/Z6 matrix, the original die-cut inner sleeve, the original booklet and the Garrod & Lofthouse original opening sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. It has a stunning exceptional original gloss with no whitening or heavy sign of play. There are just a couple of very light marks but these are pretty insignificant as this LP is superb. On playing the sound is vibrant and clear throughout. There are a couple of moments of slight background noise but there is still superb clarity and separation from start to finish. The labels are bright and the text is sharp. There is no spindle wear, just a couple of spider marks.
The record has the original printed inner sleeve in Excellent condition. The booklet is also in Excellent condition.
The overlapping sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The sleeve is complete and very solid. The colours are bright and the whole sleeve is completely clean. There is a small split on the opening edge. The two fold out parts are completely intact and are in superb condition. The whole sleeve is solid and the sleeve still has its original light sheen.
