Label: Island - Pink Labels - 2 ridges, labels are clean - evidence of some ringwear on side B

Condition - Vinyl: The record is in Very Good + condition. There are some spindle marks but no scratches or fingerprints. The record has clearly been played by the previous owner (who knew John on the folk club scene any years back) but it has been well looked after considering it's 40 years old. Visually, the record looks great, there's a nice bright sheen to the vinyl which is now housed in a new lined inner. Aurally, the sound quality is surprisingly good throughout, there's a little background noise here and there and one or two pops but this does not detract from the listening experience.
Condition - Sleeve. The laminated flipback sleeve is in Very Good + condition, there is some creasing to the front, a little fading (not too much though). There was a name sticker to the top right which I have steamed off, however it as left a fade mark as you can see from the first picture. The spine is clearly readable, all edges and corners intact, some slight wear to the record entry point. There's some light fading to the rear sleeve but no pen marks. Overall, worthy of a VG+ classification

Record Grading:
All records are graded as per the standards set by Record Collector, if you are not familiar with the standards then please do as most sellers refer to these. All records are examined under a strong light and graded accordingly. In addition, most records are played on high qualityequipment should there be any doubt of the grading required. All records are housed in new inners and stored upright in a cool shaded area. Records are housed in high grade polythene outers.
Packaging:
Please note that packaging is of the highest quality, I use professional mailers at all times, each record is supported by 2- 12" cardboard mailers. The inner sleeve and record are packed individually in order to reduce wear on the sleeve in transit. The record, inner and cardboard stiffeners are then packed inside a high grade polythene record protector before being sealed in the mailer. The mailer is then supported by tape around the edges in order to minimise risk.
