PLEASE NOTE! I HAVE OWNED AND OWN MANY COPIES OF THIS ALBUM! THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THAT I HAVE HEARD OF THIS EARLIEST STEREO ORIGINAL!!! AWESOME!!(no) CLICKS, (NO) POPS,(NO) BACKGROUND NOISE (NO) DISTORTION!! CRISTAL CLEAR ON ALL FREQUENCIES! VERY RARE TO FIND 41 YEARS OLD LIKE THIS!!

AN ARCHIVE COPY NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE!!!

 Please note! It is very rare to find these early 39 year old stereo pressings like this! The audio plays as new on my system! Stereo pressings have very slightly closer\shallower  grooves than mono pressings and it is imperitive that these vinyls do not have scratches as they tend to sound and produce ticks or clicks, where as with mono pressings of this album it is possible to get away with the odd surface scratch without effecting the vinyl! I can not over emphisise that this vinyl plays through as good as it gets on all frequencies!!! Amaizingly with absolutely (no) background noise, EVEN IN BETWEEN TRACKS! MEGA MEGA RARE TO FIND LIKE THIS! I WOULD CLASS MY SELF AS HIGHLY CRITICAL PLEASE LOOK AT MY COMPLETED LISTINGS OF RECORDS THAT I HAVE SOLD OF THIS CALABER AND YOU WILL SEE THAT I NORMALLY GET IT RIGHT!!!!

THIS ALBUM, IS A UNIQUE ARTICLE IN THAT IT CLEARLY SHOWS JOHN MAYALL'S MUSICAL PROGRESSION OVER A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS; IT IS ALSO A COLLECTION OF PAST SINGLE RELEASES AND IN JUST 11 SELECTIONS THE CHANGING PATTERNS OF THE BAND MUSICIANS ARE BRIGHTLY OUTLINED AND HIGHLIGHTED THE WORK OF..........

John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers are a pioneering English blues band, led by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist John Mayall, OBE, that has included such luminaries as:

The Bluesbreakers were formed in January 1963 with an ever-evolving lineup. Eric Clapton joined in 1965 just a few months after the release of their first album. Clapton brought the blues influences to the forefront of the group, as he had left The Yardbirds in order to play the blues!!.

The group lost their record contract with Decca that year, which also saw the release of a single called "I'm Your Witchdoctor" (produced by Jimmy Page), followed by a return to Decca in 1966. The album Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton, also known as The Beano Album, was released later that year; it reached the Top Ten in the UK!!!.

Clapton and Jack Bruce left the group that year to form Cream. Clapton was replaced by Peter Green for A Hard Road, after which he left to form Fleetwood Mac. Finally, in 1969, the third Bluesbreaker-guitarist departed when Mick Taylor joined the Rolling Stones. He would soon be replaced by blues guitarist Kal David!!.

By the time the 1960s were over, the Bluesbreakers had finally achieved some success in the United States!!.

With some interruptions, the Bluesbreakers have continued to tour and release albums (over 50 to date), though they never achieved the critical or popular acclaim of their earlier material. In 2003, Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor and Chris Barber reunited with the band for John Mayall's 70th Birthday Concert in Liverpool — the concert was later released on CD and DVD. In 2004, their line up included Buddy Whittington, Joe Yuele, Hank Van Sickle and Tom Canning, and the band toured the UK with Mick Taylor as a guest musician!!.

THE VINYL

This is the original and heavier and thicker\deeper grooved type of vinyl only found on these early UNBOXED DECCA LABELD pressings!!! Later press were much more flimsier and less robust!!.

On visual inspection the vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and still retains its original sheen from new and looks awesome i can I can barely see a blemish!!!. Any marks that could possibly be seen under a strong light would be sleeve removal marks only (no) needle or audio sounding marks at all!!!!!   I have played this through track for track AT VERY LOUD VOLUME ON A TOP SYSTEM,  The audio is awesome cristal clear and vibrant through out and plays like new!! Please note! VERY IMPORTANT,,, With (no) signs of distortion or any signs of grooveware! This plays with (no)  clicks or pops and i never heard any major in fact no background crackle at all during the audio. So rare for a  vinyl that is 38 years old!!!!! 

This would benefit from a constant clean before each play as this has been stored in a case for more than 25 years and build up of dirt anddust over the years contribute to static crackle and would be consiquently minimised after each play!!!!!!  please note This audio is clear and vibrant on all frequencies I would class myself as highly critical! Please look at my completed listing of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right!!!!!PLAYS LIKE A NEW VINYL TOP! TOP! AUDIO SO RARE LIKE THIS ON STEREO!!!!!LOOKS  AND SOUNDS BARELY PLAYED!!I NEVER EVEN HEARD A TICK! UNBELEIVABLE FOR STEREO 39 YEARS OLD!!!!

I have given my honest opinion when describing the audio quality of this album and those who know the listings and vinyls that i sell my prime interest is the audio quality!!! Please allow for the odd static crackle\tick not consistant  through out the audio! This is a genuine (not) reissue vinyl that is 4 years old and would have been played on a system that is 44 years old! I NEVER HEARD A THING!!!

These feature the unboxed decca logo (only 1st press) Also these DO NOT feature the familier decca  circular groove! This along the JT tax stamper on the run off grooves at 12 oclock to the matrix!!!, indicate that the materials used to pess this vinyl was from a very much ealier date ie. pre 1962 (believe me this is a very rare 1ST pressing) If any tax codeing should have been used the k.t would have been in line with the correct date which also ceased in 1969 These labels are in superbe condition There is very menimal spidering which can be seen in strong light but no major spindle ware the hole is perfectly round (in my opinion this has not been over played  (looks and sounds barely ever played in my opinion!!!! superbe audio) ''Made In England'' text is featured (UK pressing)!!!!!

This is the original BLUE (STEREO) DECCA sleeve (no) splits or tares light creasing very near perfect just a little staining\fading with age only!!!!!!

The cover

This is the original  1st press laminated  gatefold cover laminated by Clairifoil made by Celanese Limited and printed by Clout & Baker ltd (only 1st press) There are (no) splits or tares there is amaizingly (no)  creases in the laminate worth to mention  (very very rare to find like this)and also amaizingly (no) real storageware to the corners  (see photos) and amaqizingly (no) usual laminate lift at the spine this is strong and straight as it should be and an absolutely  superbe top! example!! original!SUPER GLOSSY!!!! VERY HARD TO SURPASS ! VERY NEAR PRISTINE AND VERY RARE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE FROM THIS ALBUM!!!

Point to note! This cover has been stored in a case for more than 25 years!, with the vinyl seperated from the cover to prevent any ring ware!!! This is how I have always stored my vinyls!!!!!!!
