PRESSED ON QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL WITH DEEP CUT GROOVES WHICH DELIVER BEAUTIFUL, CRYSTAL CLEAR, DEEP, RICH AUDIO, AS ONE WOULD EXPECT FROM DECCA WHO CUT SOME OF THE FINEST SOUNDING RECORDS OF THE PERIOD
THE LP HAS THE FIRST ISSUE RED *MONO* UN-BOXED DECCA LOGO LABELS
FIRST ISSUE MATRIX: ARL-7995-1A / ARL-7996-1A WITH 1/1 MOTHERS AND 'KT' TAX CODE ETCHED ON BOTH RUN-OFFS
AND IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL, FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVE "Printed and made by MacNeill Press Ltd., London, S.E.1" WITH TOP AND BOTTOM 'PINCHED' SPINE
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL DECCA COMPANY INNER SLEEVE

Crusade is most notable for the appearance of a very young, pre-Rolling Stones Mick Taylor on lead guitar. Taylor's performance is indeed the highlight, just as Eric Clapton and Peter Green's playing was on the previous album. The centerpiece of the album is a beautiful instrumental by Taylor titled "Snowy Wood," which, while wholly original, seems to combine both Green and Clapton's influence with great style and sensibility.

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with only moderate spindles and the original owners initials small and neat on the Side Two label. Nothing major and the labels are very fresh
VINYL Visual: The surfaces are CLEAN and BRIGHT with their original DEEP, almost LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN and are practically UNMARKED. BEAUTIFUL RECORD. Extremely well cared for
VINYL Audio: The audio is absolutely OUTSTANDING - CRYSTAL CLEAR, BEAUTIFUL, RICH, DEEP SOUND. There are NO scratches, NO sticks, NO jumps, NO click, NO pops and NO surface noise AT ALL. The sound quality is simply SUPERB and the LP plays to an impressively high standard with NO groove-wear and NO distortion. A REALLY BEAUTIFUL COPY. Must be graded NEAR MINT for audio - FLAWLESS PLAYBACK. NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page). STUNNING COPY AND A FINER ONE WOULD BE VERY HARD TO LOCATE INDEED
SLEEVE: The cover is in EXCELLENT condition.The front surface has a BEAUTIFUL, DEEP GLOSSY SHEEN and the unlaminated back is CLEAN and FRESH again, with the original owners initials (please see close-up photos). The (pinched) spine is straight and true and displays all the text CLEAR and BOLD. There is a very, very small tear on the opening edge but again this is very minor (please see photo)
