Description
This is the original UK LP by JOHN MAYALL and the BLUES BREAKERS with ERIC CLAPTON, 1969 Stereo 1st Press on the Un-Boxed DECCA label SKL 4804
This superb album was ONLY originally released in 1966 in MONO. In 1969 DECCA decided to re-release the 1966 Mono album in glorious Stereo!. This SUPERB example is the VERY 1st Press of the 1966 album in STEREO.
The original master tapes were used, so as you may well expect the Stereo sound is SUBLIME!, I'm happy to report it is, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING STEREO, true seperation, playing with depth and warmth!
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- ZAL-7297.P-1W, Side 2:- ZAL-7298.P-1W
Stamper codes are, Side 1:- 1 / U, Side 2:- 1 / U
The original 1969 UK Macneill Press cover is in EX+++ / MINT- condition. The cover maintains all it's original fresh colour on the laminated front, the back is lovely and white. The solid slim spine is Mint-, fully intact, clean and perfectly readable. Their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits. and no sticker marks.
The vinyl is in a STUNNING EX+++ / MINT- condition!!!!!, barely played The vinyl gleams with all it's original 'Just Pressed glossy shine and lustre!, I have played both sides (very very carefully!) and the vinyl plays EX+++ / MINT-!. The vinyl plays with stunning crisp clear clarity *, amazing Stereo sound!!!! *, stunning clear bright fresh sound. The quality of this 1969 UK Stereo Pressing is TOP TOP QUALITY!, playing with stunning rich tones, warmth and depth!! A SHEER DELIGHT TO LISTEN TO WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Un-Boxed DECCA label's are in MINT- condition!, lovely and clean and fresh, maintaining all their original bright fresh colour, their is no unwanted writing, the centre spindle hole shows no wear, consitant with the beautiful condition of the vinyl!
The vinyl is housed in its original 1969 UK polythene lined inner Stereo sleeve and is in VG+++ condition!, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits.
