Description

This is a fine original US pressing copy of a 1968 LP by British bluesman John Mayall.  This record is a more ambitious affair than its predecessors, featuring a jazzier sound and a side-long suite (the title track).  Players backing Mayall include two holdovers from the previous LP, future Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor and saxophonist Chris Mercer, along with two future members of the progressive jazz/blues group Colosseum, drummer Jon Hiseman and saxophonist Dick Heckstall-Smith, who had previously played with Graham Bond.  The gatefold jacket has light ring, corner, seam, and edge wear (EX).  The disc is clean with a few hairline scrapes and some light scuffing, and plays close to M- with occasional light surface noise (EX+).  The record comes with the original London label inner sleeve.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades.  All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves.  The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves.  I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
