JOHN PRINE - JOHN PRINE
I believe this to be an original 1971 copy in fairly good condition, but looking at discogs has just muddied the waters because I can't find the matrix number on this copy so it could be a repress.
It plays through ok. The vinyl does have scratch marks and scuffs though. There is a bit of noticeable surface crackle but nothing too bad to spoil it, bear in mind it is nearly 50 years old, and not as bad as you would think looking at the vinyl. The sleeve is badly worn along the spine and bottom. Included is what I believe to be the original inner sleeve and the double sided lyric sheet.
Now to the matrix number mystery.The Atlantic label has the 1841 Broadway address on it at the bottom and just above it in brackets (ST-A-712302 PR). However, on the run off the matrix number is ST-A-712302 B and the AT/GP or ATIGP written the same way up (not upside down as in some descriptions) but there is also a PR written upside down.
