JOHN PRINE-S/T 1971 ATLANTIC RECORDS LP SD 8296, PRESSWELL PRESSING IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! The outstanding debut album the famed, late singer-songwriter John Prine in this auction. His music delved back and forth between country and folk with ease, but it was his storytelling that stole the show as that was Prine's strength throughout his career. Tracks such as Angel from Montgomery, Sam Stone, Paradise & Far from Me all appear on this must own early 70's debut album from John Prine. All fans of the man or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light, small hairline on side 1 that definitely does not hamper play at all, plays well throughout. The lyric insert is unsullied. The cover has minor wear along the edges, mild rubs on the corners and a wisp of ring wear top & bottom on the front (see picture). The inner sleeve is a replacement and has a split yet still holds the record fine. A terrific buy!!
