TITLE/INFO: OK, I'm home again and ready to list more music.... If you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" music and more, please continue to check in on my site as I have many more items to sell yet - and thank you in advance. This John Prine LP - still enclosed in it's original shrink wrap, but opened - is entitled "The Best Of John Prine". I personally didn't collect this artist, but in hindsight, I think I wished I had since this LP is really good. Research has told me that John Prine was an American country-folk singer/songwriter who was known for his colorful and often humorous styles of music - even having the elements of protest and social commentaries in their lyrics. This album is a composite of all his biggest and best songs from this period of time. The LP is on this original Atlantic Records label, and all the song titles, the still shrink wrapped, but opened jacket, and label pictures are shown above, so please check them all out. Both the still sealed, but opened, jacket and record are in near mint condition, but again please read on and check out all of the pictures above. FYI, I will be listing other LPs, 45's, and more in the future, so if you are a fan of the old days of music when vinyl was king, please bookmark my sight - thank you. LABEL INFO: This Atlantic Records label (SD-18202) - in stereo - is super clean and nice with no issues in need of mentioning at all. I don't even see that any spindle lines around the center circles which indicates to me that it had very light play. VINYL INFO: The record is also extremely shiny, clean, and nice - and again, I don't see any flaws here either. JACKET: Finally, this jacket - still in it's original shrink wrap, but opened - is also in near mint condition and shows no visible flaws at all. So again, please view all of the pictures above and make your own decisions. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this outstanding '70's album is in truly excellent shape, and as always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save on postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time, wait for my invoice (not EBay's), and pay for each item as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection and more - and there are 100's more to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are original pressings and in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $23.00 for this LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
