JOHN RYDGREN ultra-rare concordia LP strange xian psych Shipping Info | S/H info: Description JOHN RYDGREN/HERB BROKERING worlds of youth on CONCORDIA records . his rarest LP next to "contata of new life" and some FANTASTIC material on here not found on any of other LPs. all tracks are 2 person dialogues, many similar to ken nordine's "twink" LP, pairing rydgren & brokering with a sexy teen hipster girl and a goofy teen hipster boy. and all with great teen scene surf-y go-go and spooky fuzz psych backgrounds. tracks like "forgiveness (the boy looking natural) - you can enjoy a jelly roll", "AWOL's of life - anybody know where the front line's are?" and "baptism (come to war) - girls, too! what a lovely war" sound like a christian equivalent of the hellers combined with nordine at his weirdest. VERY, VERY tough to find this LP and highly recommended. loaded with samples for producers/DJ's too. very fun collection today of genre-less private pressings, spoken word curiosities and children's oddities. see my other auctions and visit my websites: showandtellmusic.com and companionrecords.com
COND: cover: g to vg (due to name in black ink top, couple corner creases, fine 2" split uppr seam) . disc: vg+ (STRONG, plays exc/nm with locked-grooves) . my grading system: nm/exc/vg+/vg/g
