EXTREMELY nice copy of this rare record! I have seen one or two others, but they have been BLASTED... either the sleeve is shot, or the record has been played 'til it was nearly transparent. Not this one.
If you read Neely's Catalog of American Records (2nd ed), he lists this as having unknown tracks - and notes that the 7" and sleeve in VG+ shape are worth $75. EACH. The cover one this one is at least VG+. There is a price sticker on the front, as well as a small scuff just to the left of Johnny's chin, but that's it. No ringwear; no seam splits. The back is incredibly clean.
The ep itself is also in great shape; there are scuffs, but I'd put them down to being stored in a cardboard jacket with no paper liner for 50 years.The label is flawless. I don't think the record had ever been played! However, I played it to check it out. there is surface noise, as you'd expect for a record without an inner sleeve, but NO skips, pops or ticks. Like I said, I think I am the first person to listen to it! You can be the second...........
