Description
The Memorial Album for JOHNNY ACE (JOHNNY ACE Sings) Duke LP 70 1955 10"
Tremendously popular in the Early 50's with a string of chart successes Ace was in high demand in performance and Radio. The Lp is a collection of his hits including the posthumous #1 "Pledging My Love" after accidentally shooting himself. As with many artists of that era, though he had million seller singles, album sales were relatively poor (making the original 10" scarce) until reissued in a 12" format in 1957, where it remained in print for the next 30 years.
