Description
This is the 1968 Columbia Stereo original release of "Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison" (CS 9639). This very popular and highly collectible recorded live album is in exceptional overall condition. The shiny vinyl is in very nice condition showing minimal signs of past play despite various scuffs noted on Side One that do not impact the exceptional stereo sound from this record without surface noise or other distractions The red and white labels (360 Sound Stereo) look new with no spindle wear. The dead wax on the vinyl reflects the following on each side: XSM13601-1C indicating this vinyl may be an early pressing. This vinyl is rated as VG+. A new white generic inner sleeve is provided.
The outside jacket just came out of the original a shrink wrap that had some condition issues with an old sticker that was partly torn off. The jacket is in awesome condition front and back with no ring wear or added markings. There is some minor softening on the two outer corners and very minor edge wear next to where the shrink wrap had been opened. It will be most difficult to find a nicer jacket unless it is in a pristine still sealed album. This jacket is rated EXC++.
A new quality clear poly-vinyl outer sleeve is included. For extra protection during shipment the vinyl is separated from outer jacket and both wrapped with ample bubble wrap and shipped in a heavy duty cardboard record mailer. There is never an additional charge for packing.
