Visual, Side 1 - There is a very small feelable scratch / scuff mark near the start of track 2 and some general light surface marks otherwise the vinyl looks pretty good, G / VG. The label is very clean and virtually unmarked with just just some very light spindle scate around the hole, EX. Visual, Side 2 - Again, there are a number of light surface marks and generall the vinyl looks ok, VG. Similarly, the label is very clean and virtually unmarked with just some very light spindle scate around the hole, EX. Audio, Side 1 - The side plays reasonably well, where the small touchable scratch is on track 2 there are a couple of light clicks, nothing major, otherwise just some very light crackle here and there and occasional very light dusty click or pop, VG. Audio, Side 2 - Very similar to the first side with minimal surface noise and good sound reproduction. Some light crackle and a few light clicks at the intro of track 3 and again just ocassional light crackle and the odd light click or pop - very minimal, VG. The laminated flip back sleeve is in pretty nice condition. There is general light wear, some very minor light creasing to the front of the sleeve, spine, top and bottom edges have no wear and the opening has just a little feathering. The rear of the sleeve is still quite bright, some general light discolouration / age spotting and the flip backs are very clean and well presented. There are no stains, marks, writing, splits or indeed any real negatives, all round VG. A very decent and indeed very rare piece of Johnny Cash Country history.
Thanks For Looking!!
records are played from start to finish and I will always try to grade as accurately as possible ** I also use the Record Collector's Grading system which is as below: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. A little bit about me...As a Multiple Sclerosis sufferer I was forced to give up work some time ago but thanks to the opportunities that Ebay brings to people like me I decided to get my life back on track and give Ebay selling a go! So to all that look, enquire and buy - THANKS! This is one of many soon to be listed items of a music related theme. I will be listing numerous CD titles, some rare and plenty not so!
Look out for some rare and collectable vinyl listings - many genres including northern soul, prog, rock n roll and classical to name but a few
