Description
This auction is for a rare original Johnny Cash from Sun Records from 1958 for "Country Boy". This particular copy comes with an original Picture Sleeve in immaculate shape. Rated at EX conservatively with clean seams and amazingly sharp corners. Light discoloration on the backside from age. Obviously kept in a plastic protective sleeve for its entire life. Vinyl is in VG to VG+ shape with glossy vinyl. There is one minor scuff on the "Country Boy" side of the single and the rest of the vinyl looks untouched with no wear. Record plays through fantastically and sounds great with some faint noise present. Rated between VG and VG+ conservatively.

- M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
- VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
