and closely reviewed to achieve an honest assessment and grade of condition!
JOHNNY CASH - The Original Sun Sound Of Johnny Cash - SUN SLP-1275 mono
Issued in 1965
Audible condition = NM/NM
Visible condition = NM/NM
This extremely rare original 1st issue Lp was only released in mono. The vinyl is glossy with very mi-nute visible groove wear and NM fidelity. There is 1 obscure, short hairline surface scratch at the start of side 1, track 1 that is not audible except for 1 mi-nute tic on the lead-in deadwax, otherwise there are no other visible or audible defects. There are no visible or audible defects on side 2, both sides look, play and sound great!
The labels and white inner sleeve(not original) are NM+ with no stamps, stickers or writing. The glossy photo quality cover is NM with a very small spot of surface paper loss on the right top corner of the front, excellent spine and edge seams fully intact with no wear, and no stamps, stickers or writing. It is not a reissue or cut-out. Please see photos for song list.
The 2009 Goldmine price guide values it at $50 in NM condition.
