Beautiful copy of the rare original 1968 first pressing mono version of the classic Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison LP on Columbia 2-Eye CL-2839. 1968 is very late for mono pressings, and this was one of the very last that Columbia ever issued, in very small quantities. A very rare version of this classic record. And a lovely copy. The disc has a couple of superficial scuffs but it plays nearly flawlessly and just gorgeously. There is a superficial scuff on side one that is not at all a scratch and doesn’t make the slightest sound at all, and there is a little mark on side two on the song Give My Love to Rose, which makes only a couple of very light ticks, barely. Really the whole record is beautiful and plays just about perfectly. A truly beautiful copy. The cover has only light general wear, with a faint ring and some edge and corner rubbing, but not bad. There is a name written at he lower left corner on the back. Really this is an incredible copy of the rare original mono. Very hard to beat.
