Description

THIS IS A GREAT ORIGINAL, VERY RARE EP BY JOHNNY HALLYDAY, RECORDED IN MONO SOUND AS NOTED ON THE BLUE PHILIPS LABEL, # 437.304 BE.  IT WAS MADE IN PORTUGAL AND RELEASED ON THE BLUE PHILLIPS RECORD LABEL # 437-304 BE.  THE VINYL LOOKS AND PLAYS IN NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION, THIS IS A REAL GEM!  THE JACKET HAS SOME SIGNATURES ON THE BACK, BUT IS STILL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION OVERALL AND SOLID ALL AROUND.  THE TITLE ON THE SLEEVE IS “HEY JOE” AND THIS IS AN EXTRA PLAY (EP) 45 AS NOTED, ALL SUNG IN FRENCH.  THE OTHER SONGS ARE: JE CROIS QU’IL ME REND FOU, LA PETITE FILLE DE L’HIVER, (AND) JE SUIS SEUL.    THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING!  ALL RECORDS ARE TEST PLAYED COMPLETELY.  I ALWAYS ENDEAVOR TO DESCRIBE MY ITEMS AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE. FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS AND I WILL ALWAYS RESPOND, USUALLY WITHIN 24 HOURS. MY RECORD GRADING SYSTEM IS AS FOLLOWS:

  • Mint (M): Still sealed.
  • Near Mint (NM or M-): A nearly perfect record
  • Very Good Plus or Excellent (VG+): A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.  Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are okay.  Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned-up corners or a slight seam-split. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.
  • Very Good (VG): Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG record. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
