Description

Up for sale in this auction is a rare original stereo pressing of Johnny Hallyday's, "Sings America's Rockin' Hits". Released by Philips Records in 1961. Vinyl is in VG+ shape with a some light marks present but nothing that would cause skips or endless loops. There is a sticker affixed to the center label on one side denoting it as a part of the previous owner's record collection. Jacket is in VG shape with some edge and corner wear. There is some ringwear and a small bit of marker on the back of the jacket. We've taken a photograph of that marking. Without the marker I would rate the jacket at VG+. No seam splits! Very rare US stereo pressing

Goldmine Grading System:

  • SS  Still Sealed
  • M  Mint - Perfect in all ways.
  • M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
  • NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
  • VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
  • VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
  • VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
  • VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
  • G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
