Description
An original pressing of the That Good Feelin' album by Johnny "Hammond" Smith on New Jazz (NJLP 8241). This one features Oliver Nelson, as well as Ray Barretto, George Tucker and Arthur Taylor.
The purple and silver label reads: "NEW JAZZ A product of Prestige Records Inc., 203 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J." "RVG" is machine-stamped in the trail off. The matrix reads: "NJLP-8229." There is also a "3.17.60" hand-etched on the a-side trail off and "3.18.60" in the b-side.
The cover is very clean with only slight discoloration on both front and back. There is a bit of ring wear/shelfwear on the back cover. Three of the corners are slightly dinged up (the bottom left is split a bit). The original price tag is on the back ($4.98!), as well as a stamp for what must have been the original store it was sold from ("Super Music 1327 H St., N.E." -- my guess is Washington D.C.).
The vinyl is VG (6 out of 10, looks used but not abused with a fair number of scuffs and dust). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I try to give prompt, thorough answers and I am willing to provide additional pictures (you'll probably have to provide an email address).
Shipping will be $4.00 for media mail in the U.S. I ship internationally -- but prefer that international bidders contact me first. I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
Please contact me first before bidding if you have zero feedback. I will only ship to a confirmed address.
Check out my other items that are up for grabs. This week it's a batch of records on Prestige.
