That time of year is approaching again! Up for grabs is an original 45rpm and picture sleeve of Johnny Horton's "They Shined Up Rudolph's Nose" b/w "The Electrified Donkey". This is an original 1959 release that was pulled from the market after a copyright conflict between Columbia Records and the song writer...so I hear, resulting in it being one of the toughest single releases by Johnny Horton to locate. The 45rpm is brilliant, clean and plays with no background hiss. The labels remain clean without writing or ownership stickers! The picture sleeve is in great shape considering its age...with ever so slight bottom edge record split (the 45 & sleeve have long since been stored separably to avoid further tear). Ever so slight ring wear. There was once a sticky label in the upper corner as seen in the second picture...I cowardly have not attempted to remove it. Both the record and the sleeve are excellent examples of this difficult to find combination.
