"L.A.M.F." ist ein echter Punk-Klassiker aus dem Jahr 1977. Gegründet von Johnny Thunders (New York Dolls) und Jerry Nolan im Jahr 1975 beinflussten sie die englische Punk-Szene und bestritten mit den Sex Pistols, The Damned und The Clash die berüchtigte "Anarchy"-Tour. Ursprünglich litt die erste Pressung aufgrund eines Masteringfehlers an einem schlechten Sound. Jungle Records stieß 1994 auf lang verschollene Master-Bänder und setzte das Album neu zusammen. Zum 35. Geburtstag wurde das Album erneut als DMM Schnitt neu gemastert und erscheint im Klappcover als 180g Pressung mit Liner Notes von Thunders- und New York Dolls-Biographin Nina Antonia.
