When former NEW YORK DOLL and his HEARTBREAKERS arrived in London in 1976 they were welcomed like royalty by the emerging punk movement. When THUNDERS came to record his first solo LP a year and a bit later he could call on a selection of new London friends that included punk/new wave icons STEVE JONES and PAUL COOK, CHRISSIE HYNDE, PETER PERRETT and PAUL GRAY (of THE DAMNED), as well as established names PHIL LYNOTT and STEVE MARRIOT and HEARTBREAKERS bandmates WALTER LURE and BILLY RATH. As you would expect it's a cracker!

√  RARE 1st PRESSING :

As you can see from the photos, the LP has got the Matrix no. A1 B1 , which usually indicate the very 1st Pressing!

R.R.C GRADINGS

SLEEVE

EXCELLENT
There is some very light fraying on the corners of the cover.    Otherwise the photo of Johnny has retained its original quality.    On the back, (EXCELLENT) the album listings and photo of Thunders looking lonely still looks great.    This album comes with original red inner sleeve with track listings and band photos on each side.

LABEL(s)

A Side
EXCELLENT +

B Side

NEAR MINT
As you can see from the photos both sides of this rare Real Records records label are still in brilliant condition.

VINYL APPEARANCE

A Side
VERY GOOD +

B Side
EXCELLENT
On the A-side there are some very light surface marks.   However there are no major abrasions on either side of the vinyl.

AUDIO QUALITY
When grading the audio quality of an LP, we listen to a sample of every track : Sam and I are committed to giving as much detailed information in our listings.  However, due to the amount of records that we list each week, we can not possibly listen to every LP in full.  As our feedback suggests, we have a reputation for honesty & are trusted by collectors around the world, and if on the rare occasion our grading doesn't represent the condition, we operate a full refund policy (see details below)

B Side

The faint surface marks (mentioned above) have no negative effect on the audio quality of this album.    Johnny Thunders sounds terrific throughout this fantastic album.
