Up for grabs is this Limited edition L.A.M.F Demos and Outtakes album by the fantastic Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers this has just been stored and remains sealed, and is simply essential.
The one and only Johnny Thunders a voice of our generation and incredible song writer, Johnny penned hundreds of great songs whether with the New York Dolls, The Heartbreakers or solo he was prolific in fact I would go as far as to say the man was a creative genius.
This collection of Demos and Outtakes was the seed that grew into the classic album L.A.M.F.
The atmosphere generated in these early takes really sums up the Heartbreakers attitude and the grubby spirit of late 70's New York, with backup from Walter Lure, Billy Rath and Jerry Nolan it had no option other than being a complete punk classic.
The songs performed are tight and together, delivered with the usual swagger each one a classic in it's own right, Too Much Junkie Business, Born to lose, Goin' Steady, London Boys, and of course Chinese Rocks the ultimate kamikaze rocker that's been covered by everyone from The Ramones to Sid Vicious.
